ILLUSTRATION.

I love the illustration in the opening and ending sequences of The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. I always look forward to seeing the stories depicted in the drawings at the end of the program. The drawings of the people and animals of Botswana are so adorable and make the characters in the show even more endearing! What a great talent! I love vintage globes and collect old retractable school maps for my home. These images remind me of my schoolhouse map of Africa. The blues and greens in the illustrations are reminiscent of the colors you find on those globes and maps. I love a good illustration!

    Thanks for sharing these amazing illustrations...I have never heard of this show before and kind of explored it on their website. It really does look fun to watch. I too love illustration especially in children's books. My sister just got into the illustration program at the university and I couldn't be more excited!!
