Super cute red and pink hat - I always fall for this color combination!

Love the packaging and colors of this tea!

A bright red leather tote!

I would just add this pink leather tassel to the handle to make it a bit more festive!

I really need to try this Peanut Pecan Butter!

S is for School Totes

School Totes.

These school totes from Bobo Choses are super cute!  I think I would add a big hand-embroidered monogram and carry one myself!

They also make an over the shoulder tote if you prefer!

The Scout Guide.

I'm loving the design of The Scout Guide - each individual book is devoted to one city and highlights the best places to visit while in that city.  Each book/city is a different color - they are gorgeous - I've got to get some of these!  Created by Susie Matheson and Christy Ford.  Shopping, local artisans, dining, hidden gems - what a great idea!  The books themselves are so beautiful.  I'd like the whole stack - they make a great visual collection!

While I was admiring their website I also discovered a gorgeous handbag- the leather chestnut tote -seen in Christy Ford's picture.

They sell it at her shop - And George - love it!

H is for Happy Halloween!

is
for
Happy Halloween!

In preparation for Halloween I made some Candy Corn Cookies inspired by Camille Styles blog here.  They turned out pretty good and plentiful - just like piles of candy corn!

I've also been doing some other projects in my kitchen!  Recently I covered this odd corner countertop in my kitchen with Snow & Graham's Hydrangea wrap and I love it!  I just used some PVA glue to put the paper down and then put another coat over the top so I could wipe the counter down easily.  Then I used an exacto knife to cut around the edges.  A perfect solution when you are living in an apartment and can't have your dream kitchen just yet!

What do you think?
Have a happy Halloween!

Zebras.

I've always loved Scalamandre's flying zebra wallpaper - featured in The Royal Tenenbaums among other places.  I love a happy zebra popping up now and then!

Zebra scarves in bright colors!

Super cute red zebra tray from Furbish.

Some great pillows from Dwell - I think a duvet cover would be awesome!

Rifle Paper Co. makes an adorable zebra notepad - of course!

Fall has arrived and the crisp air is feeling good around here.  Time for back to school and new romances.
Or a fall camping trip!
Time for a new pair of boots!
Break out the tweed!

Mussels, beer, and pommes frites - by a fire preferably - make a perfect fall dinner!

P is for Pie.

for
Pie.

My sister Al made this Blackberry Balsamic Pie over the summer and it was so good that I've made it myself a few times since.  My latest version (below) was with blueberries and raspberries - super good!  I highly recommend you try it!  There is balsamic vinegar mixed in with the fruit and some sea salt in the crumble - giving it a unique and addictive flavor!

Yum!
